I have always felt Ghostly International as a label of friends, I’m following his footsteps since the early 2000′s and I’ve seen has been growing. Years ago in San Francisco used to go to small places where they played, I dance and have fun a lot, was the first time I could go places where only play minimal techno, also personally know Matthew Dear, Kate Simko and A Scott Hansen (Tycho), very involved with Ghostly and Spectral Sound (dancefloor-oriented counterpart to Ghostly).
I have to admit that so far this has been my favorite playlist in the this new phase of this blog, the closer to the music that I like to listen and that always come back.

Just as I follow the musicians, I also follow the record labels, for me labels are an important part of the collective development of the music, beyond the artist or band.
Every time I make a new playlist I always try to do a different each week, as well as different music I hear in my day to day, so I don’t repeat artists, for now at least, but I realized that I was repeating the record labels, nearly every week, which makes sense of course.
This Wednesday and some other occasional Wednesday, I will make some extra playlist only from one record label, my favorites labels and those that but I’ve been including in the previous playlist.
The first one is 4AD, an English label I’ve known for many years, and lately is signing with a bunch of new artists that I love, and doing the best material I’ve heard this year.
Aside from the artists of the label I like his aesthetic they use and especially the 4AD Sessions,which are a series of videos with live performances, a delight, highly recommended.

Así como sigo a muchos músicos también sigo muchos sellos disqueros, para mi los sellos son una parte muy importante del desarrollo colectivo de la música, mas allá del artista o la banda.
Cada vez que hago un playlist nuevo siempre trato de que sea diferente cada semana, como así es diferente la música que escucho en mi día a día, y por eso no repito los artistas, por ahora por lo menos, pero me di cuenta de que si estaba repitiendo los sellos disqueros, casi cada semana, lo que tiene sentido claro.
Hoy miércoles y algún otro ocasional miércoles voy a hacer unos playlist extras solo de sellos disqueros, mis sellos favoritos y los que mas he estado incluyendo en los playlist anteriores.
Este primero es de 4AD, un sello ingles que conozco desde hace varios años, pero que últimamente esta firmando con un grupo de artistas que me encantan y haciendo del mejor material que he escuchado este año.
Aparte de los artistas con los que trabaja me gusta su estética y sobre todo los 4AD Sessions, que son una serie de vídeos con presentaciones en vivo, un deleite, muy recomendado.
